We’re currently recruiting for the following position:

Job Title: Strategist/Copywriter

Location: Abuja

Job type: Full time (Hybrid)

Primary Responsibilities

  • Works alongside agency teams to develop fully integrated traditional and digital marketing strategies and solutions that deliver on our clients’ business and marketing objectives.
  • ⁠Plan and execute marketing strategies, campaigns, and platforms, including social media, email, search engine optimization, search engine marketing, websites/landing pages, automation, video, and emerging technologies.
  • Work with account teams to help define the scope and recommended approach for marketing and advertising projects.
  • Develop unique strategies and build upon current client strategies within the media arena to meet/exceed client objectives.
  • Prepare Marketing campaign documents.
  • Work with the Creative team to plan, implement, and improve account performance aligned with client goals and initiatives.
  • ⁠Brainstorm with the Creative teams to come up with ideas
  • Creating and editing original copies that are accurate, well-researched, and meet Client/Company needs and deadlines.
  • Create engaging copies for campaigns, blog posts, social media pages, press releases, etc.
  • Work with the team to prepare content calendars.
  • Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for marketing materials.
  • Pitching new ideas that further the Company’s/Client’s objectives.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, marketing, or a similar field.
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
  • ⁠A proven track record in developing strategic plans that benefit the client
  • Experience working in a marketing and Communication Agency
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • ⁠Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • ⁠Ability to prepare an integrated marketing campaign document from start to finish.
  • Capacity to work on multiple writing projects simultaneously.
